The GBD held on Monday, 5 June 2017 awareness-dialogue session for its employees concerned in preparation and follow up the execution of budgets in the presence of the Director General Dr. Mohammad Al-Hazaimeh.

As part of the GBD efforts, the GBD seeking to carry out its role on financial aspect of decentralization and readiness to prepare 2018 budget, taking into account the requirements and implications of the Decentralization Law on process of the budget preparation and execution.

A brief presentation was introduced during the session by Head of Expenditure Policy Analysis Division and Department Spokesperson Dr.Mohammad Aloqaily on the procedures which were approved by the Council of Ministers in its resolution No. (2979) dated 14/5/2017, consisting of the mechanism of budgets ceilings determination and budgets preparation procedures for the governorates, the project concept at the governorate level and at the national level and to determine governorates’ budgets ceilings for 2018 in line with the suggested mechanism.
