His Excellency the Prime Minister issued circular No. (1) to implement the General Budget Law for the fiscal year 2026. This circular comes to ensure the implementation of the General Budget Law in a manner that leads to achieving national goals and priorities, implementing the second phase of the economic modernization vision and the public sector development plan, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of public spending, strengthening the processes and procedures for monitoring public finances, and reducing any violations or irregularities that may result from the implementation of the general budget and follow up on the evaluation of the performance of government departments and units within periodic reports issued by the government in this regard.
