Ministry of Interior in cooperation with GBD and Fiscal Reform and Public Finance Management project (FRPFM) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) held three training workshops for the governorates to explain the manual of  governorates’ budgets preparation procedures for the year 2018 prepared by GBD in cooperation with (FRPFM) and to present the work progress in preparing the governorates’ draft budget, the problems and obstacles that they faced to discuss the appropriate solutions thereon, by the presence of the Director General of GBD, his Excellency Dr. Mohammad Al-Hazaimeh, their Excellencies the governors and their assistant, development units directors and representatives from the Ministry of Interior and a number of directors of directorates and officials in the governorates who are concerned in preparing the governorate budget .

The first workshop was held for governorates of the North region Irbid, Mafraq, Jerash, Ajloun in Irbid city on Monday 7th Aug 2017, the second workshop for governorates of the middle region Capital, Al-Balqa, Zarqa, Madaba in Amman on Tuesday 8th Aug 2017, the third workshop for governorates of the South region  in Aqaba city on Thursday 10th Aug 2017.
