Minister of Finance visits GBD

His Excellency the Minister of Finance has visited the General Budget Department on Monday November 9th, 2015 where he met with the Director General of the Department along with a number of the staff.
During his meeting, the Minister of Finance commended the efforts made by the Department in preparing the Draft of General Budget law and the Draft of Government Units Budgets law for the year 2016, which were approved by The Council of Ministers on Sunday November 8th, 2015 and submitted to the Lower House to proceed with approving them according to the constitution.
In his turn, the General Director of the General Budget Department praised the efforts made over the past months, in order to accomplish the tasks required from the Department. He also added that this achievement was the result of the joint efforts of all the Department’s staff and employees.
