H.E. the Director General of the General Budget Department, Dr. Ismail Zaghloul, received an official delegation representing the budget sector and the education sector in Hamburg, Germany. During the meeting on October 24, 2011, which was held at the Department, His Excellency welcomed the delegation, pointing out the importance of such meetings in exchanging experiences and knowledge, particularly in budget preparation.

The delegation was briefed on the Jordanian experience in budget preparation with a focus on budget preparation procedures and budget calendar. Then, a practical example on budget preparation for the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Corporation was presented.

The German delegation, in turn, briefed the audience on the budget preparation experience in the city of Hamburg.
