In the context of the General Budget Department’s efforts to enhance expenditures control and rationalization and strengthen the transparency and control mechanisms on the government units, a workshop was held on the tools of general budget implementation of the (29) government units transferred from the Government Units Budgets Law to the General Budget Law during the period (6-7/1/2019) in the presence of His Excellency Acting Director General of the General Budget Department who stressed on the importance of acquainting these units with the tools of General Budget implementation in this transitional phase and the necessity of cooperating with them to facilitate all necessary procedures to perform their tasks as required.
