In cooperation with the USAID Fiscal Reform Project, a workshop titled “Results and Remarks on KPIs” was held on Monday December 14, 2015. This comes as part of the continuous efforts taken by the General Budget Department to implement Results Oriented Budgeting along with enhancing the institutional abilities in this field.

The Workshop was attended by budget analysts and studies staff, whereby a number of topics were discussed such as the importance of analyzing and reviewing key performance indicators of the strategic objectives and programs for all the ministries and government departments. The roles and responsibilities of sector Directors and budget analysts in identifying performance indicators and the suggested steps to be taken in the future were also discussed, in order to enhance key performance indicators, including those that are gender responsive.
