His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohammad Al-Ississ, issued the General Financial Order No. (2) for February of 2022 for the ministries and government departments, and due to the delay in approving the draft general budget law for the year 2022 until after the beginning of the fiscal year and based on the text of Article (113) of the constitution and Article No.(14) of Law No.(13) of the Year 2021 Budget Organic Law and Government Units Budgets, spending will be from the budget allocations with monthly financial orders (1/12) from the appropriations of the fiscal year 2021 to cover the current expenditures and liabilities resulting from the capital expenditures until the issuance of the General Budget Law of 2022. The ministries and government departments were asked to submit their requests for financial transfers of the current expenditures line items of February and financial transfers for capital expenditures line items with accrued obligations.

His Excellency also issued the financial order No. (2) for February of 2022 for the government units to cover the current expenditures and liabilities resulting from the capital expenditures until the approval of the Government Units' Budgets Law for the Fiscal Year 2022.
