His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Dr. Abdelhakim Shibli, issued the General Financial Order No. (1) for January of 2025 to the Ministries and Government Departments, and due to the delay in approving the draft general budget law for the year 2025 until after the beginning of the fiscal year and based on the text of Article (113) of the constitution, spending will be from the budget allocations with monthly financial orders (1/12) from the appropriations of the fiscal year 2024 to cover the current expenditures and liabilities resulting from the capital expenditures until the issuance of the General Budget Law of 2025.The ministries and government departments were asked to submit their requests for financial transfers of the current expenditures line items of January and financial transfers for capital expenditures line items with accrued obligation.

His Excellency also issued the financial order No. (1) for January of 2025 for the Government Units to cover their current expenditures and liabilities resulting from the capital expenditures until the approval of the Government Units' Budgets Law for the fiscal year 2025.
