Within the efforts for reform and development, the General Budget Department, in cooperation with the Financial Reform Project/Second Phase (FRPII) Funded by the USAID, held a workshop entitled “ Budget Citizen’s Guide” during the period from 15/7 -17-7 2010 in Aqaba.

The workshop emphasized on the importance of the (Citizen’s Guide) Document and the review of some experiences from world’s countries in this context.

Also, participants discussed all matters related to (Citizen’s Guide) Document in terms of contents, volume, for and method of publishing and distribution.

At the end of the workshop, participants discussed and approved the executive plan for issuing the (Citizen’s Guide) Document as well as reviewed and discussed a number of comments and notes with a view to develop the strategic plan of the General Budget Department.
