The GBD in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and Fiscal Reform and Public Finance Management project (FRPFM) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) held encounters and meetings with the councils of the twelve governorates during the period of 11th - 20th Sep 2017, in order to facilitate the task of approving the governorates’ draft budgets for 2018 by the governorates councils, in the presence of the Director General of GBD, his Excellency Dr. Mohammad Al-Hazaimeh, liaison officers of the governorates from the GBD, the directors and staff of the local development units in the governorates, representatives of the Ministry of Interior and the financial decentralization unit in the Ministry of Finance.
