The governorates councils

The General Budget Department represented by His Excellency Acting Director General held on Sunday 12/5/2019 a dialogue session with a number of presidents and representatives of governorates councils and representatives of the Ministry of Finance and concerned departments to discuss a number of topics related to the budgets execution in the governorates councils in terms of sustaining the councils and due claims in budget 2018 in addition to obstacles facing councils in implementing the capital projects for 2019.

It was agreed on tackling all hurdles which may face the implementation of governorates councils’ budgets for the year 2019.
