His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamad Al-Ississ, issued the general financial order No.(2) of 2020 for the Ministries and Government Departments and units. His Excellency affirmed what is stipulated in Article (6/A) of the General Budget Law No. (4) for the Fiscal Year 2020 which stated “ the spending on allocated appropriations within this law shall be as per general and/or special financial orders and as per monthly financial transfers certified by the Director General of the General Budget Department”. His Excellency also affirmed what is stipulated in Article (8) of the Government Units’ Budgets Law No. (5) for the Fiscal Year 2020 “ the spending on allocated appropriations within this law shall be as per general and/or special financial orders”.
