In its session held on Sunday November 25, 2012, the Cabinet approved the ministries’, departments’, and Government units’ Manpower Bylaws for the fiscal year of 2012.
The manpower tables for 2012 articulate the government’s orientation to control government spending, maintain financial sustainability, and utilize human resources optimally. New jobs in government ministries, departments, and units were confined to necessary ones, which ensure the provision of good government services in educational, health, social, and other fields to the citizens and investors in order to maintain a stimulative local investment environment, attracting national and foreign investments.
On the other hand, the Cabinet entrusted the General Budget Department to prepare a comprehensive study on the current jobs in the Ministry of Health to examine overemployment and underemployment cases, with a view to gauge the number of employees needed for each job to facilitate the specialized and support work of the Ministry.
